This is a 5K walk/run on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, 2022, to benefit the Steamboat Springs High School Cross country and Track and Field programs. The event begins outside of the high school, travels east on Maple Street and then north on Amethyst to a turn around before Strawberry Park Road and back to the high school parking lot (right by Gardner Stadium). Participants are instructed to follow all pedestrian guidelines and stay on sidewalks or shoulders of the road. The event has been permitted by the City of Steamboat Springs as well each year. The high school teams have hosted this event for the past 8 years with success and no incidents.
